Steaming up IS a problem and yes, you can get anti-mist stuff in a little spray from most opticians. Also if you do break it, Erricson send a replacement free of charge... in my experience.... Today, we had planned on an exploratory paddle on the Bovey. However, the Dart was dropping noticeably and not much rain had fallen. We figured that our tree-ditch-exploration mission was off*. So, we paddled the Upper Dart again. Having done that, we, erm, paddled the Upper Dart again. Staying in Exeter this w/e. Did the Upper Dart today, on foot. Water running through the trees and path washed out. Might find some way of ending up on the Loop tomorrow; the wave just down from Newbridge looked very, very nice. Bit worried about the trees but hear all features have turned into waves rather than stoppers - hey, I know you've all done it at floood levels but I haven't! |
